In this
1960’s home in northern New Jersey, a small, dark kitchen was expanded
by raising the ceiling to take in the attic space above, and by bumping
out the front of the house. The resulting space is light and airy, and the
cabinetry and other woodworking were styled in response to the owner’s
request for a Japanese-inspired feel.
